I love that word.

So, my best friend sends me a message this morning about Flickr, Wikipedia, and Copyright infringment. Looks like some asshat on Flickr is taking his pictures and claiming they are his own.

As if stealing someone’s photos wasn’t bad enough, taking those photos, and posting them in a “wikipedia”: page and claiming them as your own is just fucked up.

I have created a photoset with more examples of stolen material.

More proof that my buddy’s pics are legit

If you’re going to showcase my pictures on your flickr you ought to at least get the date and city right or maybe even, I don’t know, credit the fucking person who actually took the damn picture.

in an article is a stolen copyrighted image from me. Now I don’t mind MY picture being used in the article but the author’s Flickr page ( http://flickr.com/photos/10741180@N03/ ) contains several of my original pictures. I have already alerted Flickr about this infringement.

My upload date far exceeds their’s and in my account there is the EXIF information embedded into the photo file from my camera showing when the picture was taken, when I uploaded it, and even what kind of camera I have.

Again, I do not mind if my image is used, I just ask that proper credit is given to me.
